Art, sound, and photography in motion—driven by passion, rooted in purpose.

Diana was born in Quito, Ecuador, in September 1985, into a world surrounded by art. From a young age, she was captivated by music and the visual image. This early spark led her to begin studies in Music Production in 2004 at G. Martell Music University in Mexico City.

In 2006, her creative path took her to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she specialized in Audio Recording and Post-production at Tecson School, and Film Sound at SICA APMA, the Argentine Cinematographic Industry Union.

A creative journey fueled by curiosity and conviction.
Returning to Ecuador in 2009, Diana immersed herself in formal photography studies at the Centro de la Imagen de Quito (CIAF). That same year, she landed her first professional assignment, documenting a government event. Her connection to sound remained strong, collaborating with the Galápagos-based band Arkabuz as a live sound engineer and recording assistant on their second album, working alongside producer Eric Spitzer.

In 2013, she completed her film studies at INCINE (Instituto Superior de Cine y Actuación) and has since established herself in the audiovisual world, contributing to narrative and documentary projects. Her visual storytelling has also shaped campaigns for international brands such as VITA and TGI Friday’s.

From lens to voice—where creativity meets activism.
During the pandemic, Diana redirected her career toward social activism, deepening her expertise in photojournalism and community-based communication. Her work has become a powerful tool for advocacy and change, collaborating with organizations such as Fundación Teatro Nacional Sucre, teleSUR English, Agence France-Presse (AFP), and UNDP’s INTEGRA project.

Nature as muse, activism as mission.
Now based in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, Mexico, Diana continues to blend art and activism through her photography and environmental work. She volunteers with ECOBAC, an organization focused on humpback whale conservation, and is currently working toward certification as a Master Diver and whale-watching guide through the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (EIIS), in partnership with WWF.

A life woven with images, sound, and impact.
Diana transforms the world into her canvas—capturing the moments that move us, stories that awaken us, and causes that connect us. Her journey is ongoing, driven by a deep devotion to art, music, human rights, and the natural world.
